The Steering Committee for the implementation of the provincial social insurance and health insurance policies evaluates the work in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022

– On April 22, the Provincial Steering Committee for implementing the social insurance and health insurance policies held an online conference to evaluate the work in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

Attending and chairing the conference from the provincial level was Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies.

In 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the province continued to receive attention from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee; Party committees and authorities at all levels have been directing and implementing policies on social insurance and health insurance. The Steering Committee of implementing social insurance and health insurance policies of Lang Son province has closely coordinated with the People’s Committees of the districts and Lang Son city to implement social insurance and health insurance policies…

As a result, by the end of 2021, the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance, unemployment insurance has increased and reached 100% of the plan; health insurance coverage rate has reached 93% of the province’s population; collection of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance has reached 100.2% of the plan; the debt of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance has been controlled; the health insurance fund has been strictly managed, effectively used, and the quality of medical examination and treatment services and medical services has been improved; the level of satisfaction of the people about the quality of medical examination and treatment services, the registration procedures for participation and payment of social insurance and unemployment insurance have been gradually improved; The effectively implemented social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance have replaced or partially compensated employees’ incomes when they have been reduced or lost, thereby contributing to ensuring social welfare in the province.

Discussing at the conference, the delegates focused on clarifying a number of contents such as the renovation of propaganda, mobilization and development of participants of social insurance and health insurance; the leadership and direction of the district level steering committees, the establishment and maintenance of activities of commune-level steering committees in some localities; the coordination between departments, sectors and units in the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the province; the implementation of development targets on participants of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance; …

Concluding the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee asked the Steering Committees of implementing social insurance and health insurance policies at all levels and relevant units to continue to advise their Party committees and authorities on guidance and effective implementation of policies on social insurance and health insurance in their localities.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested that the Steering Committees at all levels and professional sectors should systematically implement groups of tasks and solutions to meet the targets and plans on developing participants, collecting, reducing the debt of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance in 2022. The social insurance sector and members of the provincial and district steering committees should pay attention to improving the quality and effectiveness of communication about social insurance and health insurance in associations, enterprises, schools, all classes of People; timely inform and advise workers on the one-time withdrawal of social insurance. The social insurance sector and members of the steering committees at all levels should advise their Party committees and authorities to propose to the Government on additional benefits for participants of voluntary social insurance; at the same time, continue to reform administrative procedures, strengthen coordination with sectors to organize interdisciplinary inspection and examination, thereby promptly correcting and handling violations in the implementation of social insurance, health insurance policies.
