Huu Lung needs to continue speeding up the tracing and quick quarantine of cases related to Covid-19 cases

– On the afternoon of May 12, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected the situation of Covid-19 prevention and control in Huu Lung district.

The delegation checked the reality of tracing and zoning three suspected cases of Covid-19 in Hoa Thang commune.

Working at Hoa Thang Commune People’s Committee, Huu Lung District Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control reported on the epidemic prevention and control in the area over the past time.

Specifically, as of 15:00 on May 12, 2021, the district had four Covid-19 cases (BN3238, BN3239, BN3354, BN3481) and recorded three more suspected cases of Covid-19 in Suoi Ngang village 1. and Bao Dai 1 village, Hoa Thang commune (testing results at the Provincial General Hospital showed positive results for SARS-CoV-2 virus) and waiting for confirmation testing from the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.

Through tracing cases related to three suspected cases of Covid-19 in Hoa Thang commune, functional forces have identified 27 F1 cases, over 380 F2 cases and zoned, quarantined residential clusters in Suoi Ngang 1 village and Bao Dai 1 village; set up four checkpoints for the epidemic prevention and control in the area of ​​the two villages which have suspected cases. Currently, the forces are continuing to trace and zone areas to ensure that the disease is not at risk of spreading to the community.

Speaking at the inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee asked the forces to continue promoting the work of tracing, reviewing and promptly quarantining F1 cases related to the cases; strictly manage cases of quaratining at home. The District Steering Committee must direct the district health center to advise and propose the procurement of rapid Covid-19 tests to promptly serve the epidemic prevention and control in the area.

Huu Lung district needs to promote propaganda, raise awareness of the epidemic prevention and control and not let the people panic before the epidemic’s developments; develop more community groups against Covid to well perform epidemmic monitoring, prevention and control at grassroots. In particular, the unit needs to strictly comply with regulations on the epidemic prevention and control in the election of the 15th National Assembly deputies and deputies of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
