Bac Son and Binh Gia need to ensure the completion of a large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign as soon as possible

– On the afternoon of September 28, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected the vaccination against COVID-19 in the districts of Binh Gia and Bac Son.

The delegation inspected the implementation of the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign at injection sites such as Tan Van Commune Health Station and Binh Gia Township Health Station, Binh Gia District; Bac Quynh Commune Health Station, Bac Son District. At the same time, the delegation encouraged health workers and people participating in vaccination to well comply with pandemic prevention regulations, ensuring a safe and effective campaign.

After the inspection, it was showed that the vaccination against COVID-19 has been strictly implemented by the injection sites, in accordance with regulations on pandemic prevention and control; the vaccination process has followed the one-way rule; all vaccination sites have been fully equipped to ensure timely first aid for post-injection reactions (if any).

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee delivered a speech at the meeting with the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Bac Son district.

Regarding the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign, in Binh Gia district, the injection is held at 20 sites of communes, towns and another in the District Health Center; two mobile emergency teams in groups and 8 quick response teams for emergency duty at injection sites are established. As a result, from September 23, 2021 to September 27, 2021, over 17,400 people were vaccinated in the whole district (reaching 52% of the target).

In Bac Son district, 19 injection sites with over 30 injection tables have been formed in 18 communes and towns in the area. Vaccination is done safely and according to regulations. From September 22, 2021 to the noon of September 28, 2021, the district has safely administered injections to over 27,000 people (reaching 48%).

Concluding the inspection, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in these districts, which has been effective and safe; the percentage of people participating in vaccination is high.

The delegation inspected the implementation of medical declaration and data entry at the injection site of Tan Van Commune Health Station, Binh Gia District.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the two districts of Bac Son and Binh Gia to continue to strictly implement the regulations on pandemic prevention and control and absolutely not to be negligent or subjective during the pandemic development.

For the implementation of the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the two units to ensure the completion of the campaign in the shortest time with the highest safety; to strengthen propaganda for the people to participate in timely vaccination as scheduled; to mobilize the whole political system to review the list of people for vaccination, to encourage people to get injections; to create mobile injection teams to administer injections for those who are not healthy enough to move to vaccination sites; to instruct people after vaccination to install the electronic health book application.
