Leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee inspect COVID-19 vaccination in Loc Binh and Dinh Lap districts

– On the afternoon of September 27, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, inspected the vaccination against COVID-19 in Loc Binh and Dinh Lap districts.

In Loc Binh district, the delegation inspected the work of vaccination in Dong Quan commune and Na Duong town; in Dinh Lap district, the delegation inspected the vaccination site of Dinh Lap Health Center and Thai Binh farm town.

In Loc Binh district, in the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign alone, the district was allocated more than 43,000 doses of vaccine. From September 23 to September 26, 2021, over 16,500 people were vaccinated in the whole district (reaching 37.8% of the target).

In Dinh Lap district, from September 23 to noon of September 27, 2021, the whole district administered over 9,300 doses of vaccines on a total of 13,110 doses distributed (reaching 71.54% of the target). In which, the number of people who received the first dose was nearly 16,000 people (reaching 80.9%).

At the vaccination sites, the delegation inspected the conditions for deploying COVID-19 vaccination such as facilities, equipment, human resources, vaccination process, arrangement of screening examination room, vaccination room, post-injection monitoring room…

Through the inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee noted that the district authorities, staff, health workers and people had close coordination, self-discipline, and responsibility in vaccination work.

He suggested the Provincial Party committees, local authorities, and the health sector to strengthen propaganda and widely inform people about the vaccination; organize mobile health groups to coordinate with communes to mobilize people to get vaccinate and archive the highest rate of pandemic prevention. At the vaccination sites, it is necessary to fully prepare conditions for facilities and human resources, especially to ensure the distance, limit people gathering, so that they can effectively and safely vaccinate people.
