Evaluating the results of legal support for enterprises in the 2016-2020 period

(LSO) – On the afternoon of November 30, Department of Justice organized the Workshop on evaluating the results of legal support for enterprises in the 2016 – 2020 period and proposed a legal support program for small and medium-sized enterprises in the 2021 – 2025 period.

According to the lead-in report, at present, the province has more than three thousand enterprises, over 98% of whom are small and medium-sized enterprises.

In the 2016 – 2020 period, legal support for enterprises has been implemented in various forms, contributing to facilitating the establishment and development of enterprises’ production and business activities.

The overview of the workshop

Highlights are that Department of Justice held 13 workshops and conferences on legal support for enterprises with more than one thousand participants; updated 365 legal documents of the province related to enterprises to the national database, serving the search and understanding of individuals and businesses.

Departments, committees, agencies, District and City People’s Committees have compiled and issued more than 41,385 propaganda materials on legal support for enterprises; organized over 460 training courses, fostering knowledge of law, corporate governance for over 44 thousand participants and so on.

At the workshop, representatives of departments, committees, agencies and justice offices of districts and the city made presentations to evaluate the results and limitations of legal support for enterprises. At the same time, they proposed solutions and made comments on the Provincial People’s Committee’s program of legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the 2021 – 2025 period such as continuing to disseminate, thoroughly grasp and organize the good implementation of legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises according to regulations of the Law; organize training courses, fostering skills, dialogues with businesses for the staff working on legal support for enterprises; promptly and fully update legal documents issued by the Provincial People’s Council and the Provincial People’s Committee to the national legal database; building specialized pages, legal columns for businesses on the media; receive, provide legal advice, solve legal problems for enterprises in a timely and competent manner and so forth.

At the end of the workshop, the leader of Department of Justice received the delegates’ opinions and proposals, then the Department will continue to complete and supplement the draft program of legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the province in the 2021 – 2025 period to submit to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval in the upcoming time.
