The Central Vietnam Women’s Union presents Tet gifts to poor people in Lang Son

(LSO) – On January 13, 2021, the Delegation of the Central Vietnam Women’s Union (Women’s Union), led by Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Vice President of Vietnam Women’s Union, presented Tet gifts to poor women, policy-benefited families, poor students in Van Quan district. The delegation was Accompanied by leaders of the Panel of Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Women’s Union.

The delegation visited, gave gifts and wished New Year wishes to martyrs’ mothers at Lien Hoi commune, Van Quan district

The delegation gave gifts and sent wishes New Year wishes to cadres and soldiers of Thanh Lu Border Guard Station, Cao Loc District

The delegation presented Tet gifts to 15 policy-benefited families and 30 disadvantaged women, and awarded scholarships to 10 disadvantaged pupils having excellent academic results, each worth over VND 1 million. Also on this occasion, Coca-Cola Vietnam Company presented 50 gifts to women in difficult circumstances, each valued at over 500,000 VND. During the program, the delegation paid a visit and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroes’ mothers and martyrs’ mothers, and army officers of Provincial Border Guard Headquarters and Thanh Lu Border Guard Headquarters, Cao Loc District. It is scheduled that on January 14, 2021 the delegation will continue to hand over Tet gifts and send New Year Wishes to social policy beneficiaries, poor women, disadvantaged studious students in Dinh Lap district and Border Guards Post at Chi Ma, Loc Binh district. This is an annual activity, a part of the program “Happy Tet Holidays” in 2021 of the Central Vietnam Women’s Union, in order to care for and support disadvantaged women and support students, and at the same time express gratitudes to Vietnamese heroes’ mothers, martyrs’ mothers, social policy beneficiaries, border officials and soldiers making great contribution to tightening the relationship between the army and people.
