Renewing the forms of law propagation, dissemination and education

(LSO) – That was the direction of Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee at the conference on  implementing judicial work in 2021, the orientation for the 2021 – 2025 term, held by Department of Justice on the afternoon of January 7

In 2020, the judicial work in the province was implemented synchronously, the tasks met and exceeded the assigned targets. Department of Justice appraised 62 draft legal documents (equal to 119% compared to 2019); commented on 319 draft legal documents (equal to 130% compared to 2019); guided the assessment of communes meeting the standards of accessing the law in 16/16 new-style rural communes in 2020 and 21 border communes and townships; the rate of administrative procedures dossiers returned early and on-time was 98.2%, up 3% compared to 2019. The whole province organized over 11 thousand law propaganda conferences for more than 907 thousand listeners and so on.

In 2021, the justice sector will focus on implementing a number of contents, targets and tasks such as striving to check 100% of legal documents issued in the year; strengthen and renew the legal support for businesses; continue to effectively organize law dissemination and education programs, schemes and plans; strive for the rate of successful reconciliation at grassroots to reach 80% or more and so forth.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the provincial justice sector in 2020.

He requested that in the coming time, the justice sector actively and actively perform judicial tasks according to the plan of the Provincial People’s Committee; strengthen discipline and responsibility of the head; effectively implement the Law on Amendment of Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, improving the quality of appraising draft legal documents. At the same time, it is necessary to renew the forms of law propaganda, dissemination and education, increase grassroots conciliation training, effectively manage the state in the field of judicial assistance.

The individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The representatives of divisions and units under Department of Justice; Justice offices of districts and the city signed emulation covenants

On this occasion, Department of Justice has one collective and three individuals awarded certificates of merit from Minister of Justice for their outstanding achievements to celebrate the 75^th anniversary of the justice tradition and the 5^th patriotic emulation congress of  the justice sector; 13 individuals were awarded the medal “For the cause of justice”; three collectives and four individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding achievements in judicial work in the 2015 – 2020 period; three collectives and five individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Law on Judicial Records in the 2010 – 2020 period. Department of Justice awarded certificates of merit to seven collectives, 35 individuals who well completed tasks by 2020.

In the program, Department of Justice launched and signed an emulation covenant in 2021.
