Provincial leaders attended the meeting to summarize the work of Youth Union, Youth Federation and youth movements in 2020

(LSO) – On January 8, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation organized a meeting to review the work of the Union, Federation and Youth Movement in 2020, and implement the tasks in 2021.

Attending the conference were Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and cadres of the Youth Union and Federation of 18 Youth Union units.

Following the mission of the work program in 2020, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union focused on directing and drastically implementing 5 key tasks, 1 breakthrough content and 11 targets.

As a result, there are 10 over 11 targets reached and exceeded the plan. Many targets have exceeded the plan, such as the loans through the Social Policy Bank increasing by more than 71 billion, reaching over 238% of the plan; implementing works for participation in new rural development, urban civilization; proposing 5,570 creative ideas, reaching 110%; union of communes, wards and towns that registered to help 220/200 vulnerable young people; helping 11,915 / 8,700 children in difficult circumstances …

With the theme “Youth start-up” in 2021, all levels of the youth union focused on implementing 5 key tasks, 12 basic targets and 1 breakthrough content which is to support young people to start their own business. The Youth Federation at all levels implemented 12 emulation targets with the following contents: proposing ideas and initiatives; planting trees; supporting young people to borrow capital for economic development; supporting youth to develop production, taking care of teenagers, children …
