The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected the preparation for the high school graduation exam and the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic in Bac Son and Van Quan

– On June 26, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee, led by Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, inspected the preparation of the national high school graduation exam in 2021 and the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in Bac Son and Van Quan districts.

According to the report, regarding the high school graduation exam in 2021, Bac Son district has a total of 637 candidates taking the exam, divided into 27 exam rooms at 2 sites of Bac Son high school and Vu Le high school. Van Quan district has 664 candidates registered to take the exam at 2 test sites of Luong Van Tri High School and Van Quan High School with 29 exam rooms.

Over the past time, exam preparation has been directed by the Steering Committees for the national high school exam at district-level 2021 of the two districts, implemented systematically from completing candidate profiles, standardizing data, checking exam registration dossiers; preparing personnel for the exam; training on regulations and professional skills on exam organization; developing epidemic prevention plans… to the preparation of facilities and plans to ensure security and safety for the exam…

Reagrding the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, Bac Son district has 35 public quarantine areas. The district is maintaining effective operation of 155 Covid community groups. The district is treating 1 F0 and 11 F1; applying public quarantine to 267 people. On June 26, the district received 469 workers from Bac Giang and provided them quarantine at locality. The facilities and conditions for quarantine was made ready by the district.

In Van Quan district, from April 27, 2021 up to now, 567 people have been traced and isolated (including 4 F0 cases; 42 F0 cases have recovered from Bac Giang and moved to the locality; 287 F1 cases; 289 people moved back from provinces or regions with epidemic). According to the plan, the district will receive 885 workers from industrial parks to the locality for quarantine in this second phase. To ensure the conditions for workers to quarantine, the district has established 27 public medical quarantine areas, with over 1,200 beds.

At the quarantine areas and district health centers, after the inspection, the delegation presented gifts to encourage the forces that are on duty and working here.

Concluding at the inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that regarding the exam preparation, the exam steering committees of the districts must ensure that the organization of the exam would be serious and absolutely safe, strictly follow the regulations; perform well the epidemic prevention and control during the exam period; test for examination officials; complete exam revision orientation for candidates; prepare for any arising epidemiological factor of Covid-19 epidemic to have the best plan in epidemic prevention; prepare enough human resources to serve the exam; prepare adequate facilities for the exam; ensure food safety; prepare plans to handle unexpected situations that may occur; ensure security and safety for exam…

Regarding epidemic prevention, the People’s Committees of districts need to closely follow the guiding documents of the Central and the province on epidemic prevention; to well prepare facilities, plans for screening and quarantine for workers returning to their localities; to pay attention to activities in quarantine areas, to request on the regulations at public medical quarantine area, which should be publicly posted and propagated for people to implement; to closely monitor and ensure absolute security at the commune-level quarantine area.

At the same time, it is necessary to promote the activities of Covid community groups in propaganda to all classes of people; to promptly and properly handle cases of F0; to carry out treatment for case F0; to ensure the prevention of cross-infection in quarantine areas and medical centers; to strictly punish cases violating the regulations on epidemic prevention; to well implement the vaccination; to pay attention to environmental sanitation, treatment of common waste and hazardous waste in quarantine areas; to mobilize social contribution in epidemic prevention. At the same time, districts need to allocate human resources and funds, strengthen the inspection of epidemic prevention in their areas.
