Lockdown and quarantine areas must ensure good security and safety and do not allow cross-infection

– On May 13, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, inspected and presented gifts to medical facilities that are quarantining F1 cases in Lang Son city and Cao Loc district. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Health.

The delegation inspected, visited and presented gifts to medical staff and related forces on duty at the Provincial General Hospital, Dong Dang Regional General Clinic, Cao Loc district and Lang Son Lung Hospital, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city.

At the Provincial General Hospital and Dong Dang Regional General Clinic, Cao Loc district, the delegation discussed with the leaders of the units about the quarantine of F1 cases; the implementation of regulations on epidemic prevention and control in the quarantine area and the work of ensuring food security and safety.

At these places, the units reported the specific situation of quarantine work. In which, the Provincial General Hospital is quarantining 46 F1 cases, Dong Dang Regional General Clinic is quarantining 47 F1 cases. The quarantine ensures the highest requirements in epidemic prevention and control.

At Lang Son Lung Hospital, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city (was under lockdown on May 5 due to being related to BN3090 with Covid-19 under treatment at the unit), the unit is quarantining eight F1 cases and 346 F2 cases who are medical staff, patients and patients’ family members. The quarantine work is safe, everyone in the hospital’s lockdown area is healthy and psychologically stable.

Speaking at the inspection, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee praised the efforts of medical staff and related forces, who have well performed their assigned tasks.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the units to well ensure security, food safety and hygiene and environmental hygiene in quarantine and lockdown areas, contributing to improving the efficiency of the epidemic prevention and control in the area.
