– On December 3, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected on pandemic prevention and control in Dinh Lap district.

The delegation inspected the pandemic prevention and control at 4 locations including the concentrated isolation area for F1 cases at the old headquarters of the District Military Command; the treatment of F0 patient at the District Health Center; the isolation of F1 cases at home in Zone 1, Dinh Lap town; An interdisciplinary medical quarantine checkpoint on Highway 4B, Bac Lang commune, Dinh Lap district.

At the meeting with the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control (the Steering Committee) of Dinh Lap district, the delegation was informed about the pandemic development in the area.

Provincial delegation inspects the implementation of isolating F1 cases at home in Zone 1, Dinh Lap town, Dinh Lap district

Specifically, from the beginning of 2021 to 8:00 am on December 2, 2021, the unit recorded 18 cases of COVID-19 (currently being isolated and treated at Dinh Lap District Health Center with stable mental and physical health. After tracing, the functional forces have identified 555 cases of F1 being isolated in concentrated isolation are (129 cases of F1 being isolated at home) and more than 3,300 related cases of F2 being isolated at their home in compliance with the regulation of safety.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee affirmed that the pandemic situation in Dinh Lap district was basically being controlled, no additional sources of infection were found.

Amid the complicated development of the pandemic situation, he requested the Steering Committee of Dinh Lap to closely follow the actual situation to come up with flexible and appropriate pandemic prevention measures; absolutely not be overly optimistic, negligent and worried about the complicated developments of the pandemic; to encourage people to well implement 5K+ vaccination + technology + awareness.

The District Steering Committee needed to tighten the anti-infection, to prevent cross-infection in concentrated isolation areas, to avoid the situation of “tight outside, loose inside” in the above areas.
