Reviewing to recognize 13 more communes meeting new-style rural and advanced new-style rural criteria

(LSO) – On December 28, the Provincial Appraisal Council for Communes meeting the New-style Rural Construction Criteria held the meeting to appraise, review to recognize nine communes meeting new-style rural criteria and four communes meeting advanced new-style rural criteria by 2020.

Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Appraisal Council chaired the meeting.

According to the report of the Provincial New-style Rural Construction Program Coordination Office, up to now, nine communes: Hoa Lac (Huu Lung district); Y Tich (Chi Lang district); Doi Can (Trang Dinh district); Khuat Xa, Tu Mich (Loc Binh district); Tu Xuyen (Van Quan district); Hong Thai (Binh Gia district); Xuat Le, Tan Lien (Cao Loc district) have basically met 19 out of 19 criteria according to the Set of the National Criteria  for  New-style Rural Communes.

Along with that, four communes: Chien Thang (Bac Son district); Tan Thanh (Huu Lung district); Cuong Loi (Dinh Lap district); Mai Pha (Lang Son city) have basically met 14 out of 14 criteria according to the set of criteria for advanced new-style rural communes.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, agencies and the People’s Committees of districts with appraised communes explained and clarified some related contents about the completion and consolidation of some new-style rural  and advanced new-style rural criteria.

After discussion, the Appraisal Council for Communes meeting the New-style Rural Construction Criteria held the vote. As a result, nine communes are eligible to be submitted to the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to decide the recognition of communes meeting new-style rural criteria and four communes are eligible to meet advanced new-style rural criteria by 2020.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Appraisal Council suggested that the communes continue to improve the quality of criteria; at the same time, direct the Provincial New-style Rural Construction Coordination Office to complete documents for submission according to regulations.
