The leader of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected site clearance work in Loc Binh district

– On June 24, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Key Projects inspected the actual site clearance for projects in Loc Binh district.

According to the report of Loc Binh District People’s Committee, in the first six months of 2021, the site clearance work in the district has been implemented drastically and effectively. The District People’s Committee has developed an implementation plan for each project, by the end of June, the District Land Fund Development Center has counted 304 cases with an area of ​​more than 31 hectares, approving the plan for 1,058 cases with the funding of 75.8 billion VND; coordinating with investors to make payments for 1,126 cases with the amount of 80.9 billion VND; handing over 57.6 hectares of land to investors for construction and installation of items.

At the inspection, the representatives of investors requested that Loc Binh District People’s Committee continue coordinating to speed up the site clearance for projects, especially the site clearance of traffic bridge works under the project of renovating and upgrading National Road 4B; Loc Binh bridge project and so on.

Representatives of departments and sectors suggested that the investors and Loc Binh District People’s Committee urgently deploy construction items of the resettlement area to create a land fund to arrange resettlement for households affected by the projects.

The investors and Loc Binh District People’s Committee proposed the Provincial People’s Committee to soon direct relevant units to submit to the Prime Minister for approving the policy of changing the land use purpose for projects using more than ten hectares of rice land.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged the efforts of Loc Binh District People’s Committee in implementing site clearance for projects as well as seriously implementing conclusions, directing documents of the Provincial People’s Committee on rectification and promotion of site clearance for projects.

Regarding the tasks in the upcoming time, he requested that the District People’s Committee focus on more closely directing specialized agencies, the People’s Committees of communes and townships to speed up the site clearance for projects; increase human resources for the District Land Fund Development Center to perform assigned tasks to meet progress requirements.

In addition, the District People’s Committee must coordinate with the province’s functional departments and agencies to accelerate the removal of obstacles within their competence related to site clearance for the Mau Son cable car eco-tourism area project; timely complete dossiers of land use planning and plans for the 2021-2030 period and submit them to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval as a basis for land acquisition for the site clearance of projects; actively research and deploy the construction of a concentrated cemetery to serve the relocation of graves that have to be relocated in projects in the district.

The representative of Loc Binh District Land Fund Development Center reported to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee about  problems in site clearance in Khanh Xuan commune area under the project of renovating and upgrading National Road 4B.

Regarding the recommendations of Loc Binh District People’s Committee, the investors of projects on using rice land over ten hectares, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee assigned Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate in completing required documents for the Provincial People’s Committee to submit to the central government for approval according to regulations.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee had a field inspection on the implementation of site clearance at the project of renovating and upgrading National Road 4B; Loc Binh bridge 1 project; road and resettlement area in Luc Thon commune (now Loc Binh township); project to build technical infrastructure for the resettlement area and rural residents in Huu Khanh commune in the form of public-private partnership.
