Spending all resources localizing, preventing the Covid-19 pandemic from spreading

– That was the direction of Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the afternoon of May 29 on a number of contents related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, up to the noon of May 29, the whole province had 62 cases of F0, 2,349 cases of F1, 20,058 cases of F2. In which, 9 cases are being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases (3 cases have recovered), 49 cases are being treated at the Health Center of Huu Lung District, 4 cases are being treated at the Health Center of Chi Lang. Cases related to the outbreak in Bac Giang and especially some infections of unknown origin are complicated.

According to statistics, the whole province has over 41.5 thousand workers working in Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Hai Duong provinces. In which, more than 6.6 thousand workers have returned, currently, the number of workers returning from industrial parks is continuing to increase.

Huu Lung is the district with the most complicated disease development with 55 cases of F0, 939 cases of F1, 7,599 cases of F2. This is also the district with the largest number of workers in industrial parks outside the province and the highest number of workers who have returned to the province. The whole district has tested 18,000 people, accounting for 15% of the district population. From 0:00 on May 29, the district has implemented social distancing.

At the meeting, the delegates focused on discussing difficulties in providing facilities in quarantine areas and purchasing medical equipment, managing workers returning from industrial parks outside the province, proposing solutions related to disease prevention and control such as prioritizing the testing and vaccination for people in communes with cases of F0; strictly implementing medical declaration at checkpoints; rapid testing and classification of workers into quarantine area; tightening pandemic prevention and control at border gates and border areas; medical waste treatment…

Concluding the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested all levels and sectors should continue to strengthen leadership and direction in disease prevention and control, ensuring the implementation of “dual goals”; strengthen management and control of border areas and border gates with China and checkpoints adjacent to Bac Giang province.

Regarding the quarantine work, the units should well implement the motto “4 on the spot”, districts and city need to actively get information to review and classify returning workers, prepare quarantine facilities for these people; well handle medical waste, domestic waste at hospitals and public quarantine areas.

Regarding the treatment of F0, it should continue to maintain concentrated treatment of cases in Huu Lung and Chi Lang. However, it is necessary to actively prepare good treatment conditions in Lang Son city. In the coming time, priority should be given to testing residents in communes with F0, residents in Huu Lung district, high-risk subjects…

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that all levels and sectors needed to strengthen propaganda, raise awareness and responsibility for the community; continue to mobilize resources, balance resources to purchase medical equipment, which meets the requirements of pandemic prevention and control.
