Lang Son ranks 16th in digital transformation and has 100% of eligible public services to level 4

– On the afternoon of October 19, the Ministry of Information and Communications organized an online conference to announce the report on the results of assessing the level of digital transformation at ministerial and provincial levels in 2020 and promoting the provision of 100% of eligible public services to level 4. Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications chaired the conference.

Attending the conference in Lang Son were leaders of the Department of Information and Communications and representatives of some related units.

The Digital Transformation Index (DTI) announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications includes the provincial digital conversion index and the ministerial level digital transformation index. The structure of the ministry-level DTI index consists of 41 sub-indices, 111 criteria; the provincial index structure consists of 3 pillars: digital government, digital economy, digital society, with 108 sub-indices and 306 criteria. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the average digital conversion score at the ministerial level is 0.3982/500 points; the average score at the provincial level is 0.3026/1,000 points.

According to the provincial DTI ranking results, Lang Son ranked 16th out of 63. In which, Lang Son digital economy ranks 8/63, digital government ranks 18/63, digital society ranks 24/63.

At the conference, the Ministry of Information and Communications also announced a list of 6/20 departments, 23/63 provinces and cities reaching 100% of eligible public services to level 4. Lang Son is one of the provinces where 100% of public services are eligible to level 4.

At the conference, delegates from ministries, provinces and cities shared experiences, recommendations and proposals on financial and material resources, and the strength of the political system to implement digital transformation in various fields. The representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications received comments from representatives of the ministries, sectors and localities, and the ministry will continue to complete the set of criteria on indicators, accompanying the ministries and local agencies to implement targets, goals and plans for digital transformation.
